How long does the install actually take?

Do you use cookies? Is this GDPR-friendly?

No third-party cookies, ever. Attribution is stored first-party in the visitor's own browser (localStorage with a first-party cookie fallback, 90-day TTL) and written to your CRM. There is no cross-site tracking, so SourceMyLead itself doesn't require a cookie banner — this very site runs without one.

How is this different from GA4?

GA4 aggregates anonymous sessions — it can't tell you where Maya, who just booked a demo, came from. SourceMyLead writes the source (channel, campaign, keyword, referrer) onto each named contact and deal, so "revenue by channel" comes out of your CRM, not out of a dashboard your team never opens.
